Patterns of Africa
(Giraffa camelopardalis)
There is no other image in my portfolio that creates more discussion than Patterns. I was shooting wildlife images at the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas when I came upon this giraffe. I shot a picture of his face then he turned and walked away from me. I was fascinated by the patterns in his coat and how the patterns matched his tail. I produce this image as a 16x20" Gicleé canvas gallery wrap and also printed on Kodak Endura paper.
